'Inside the Ivory Tower' is a ranking of the world's best university programs in international relations. The ranking is published by the Foreign Policy magazine in collaboration with the Teaching, Research, and International Policy (TRIP) Project at the College of William & Mary. The survey is based on input from 'all international relations scholars employed at a college or university who have an affiliation with a political science department or school of public policy and who teach or conduct research on issues that cross international borders.'[1]
The first TRIP Faculty Survey was conducted in 2004.[2] One of the questions asked respondents to rank International Relations graduate schools in the U.S. The survey has since expanded to include undergraduate programs.[3] The survey began including universities outside of the U.S. in 2009.[4] The survey was last conducted in 2018,[5] and asks the respondents to rank the top five international relations programs by degree level. The rankings are determined by the percentage of respondents who list a particular school.[6]

In the absence of laws tying exploitation rights to successful exploration, the widely publicized Po Valley methane and oil strikes triggered three years of parliamentary debate, legislative proposals, and intensive lobbying by international and private oil companies, all revolving around the issue of state control versus free competition in hydrocarbons exploration. https://site-3985965-6405-544.mystrikingly.com/blog/encyclopedia-of-hydrocarbons-eni-pdf-to-jpg. A clause in the bill guaranteed ENI exclusive rights to exploration in the Po Valley, while allowing private companies to compete in other areas of Italy. All corporations through which the state was operating in the hydrocarbons sector at that time were grouped to form a single entity, through a complex system of outright acquisitions and government investments. In 1949, Agip acquired full control of the state-owned pipeline company Snam which enabled Mattei to begin to establish a network of methane pipelines to communities and industry in northern Italy. On February 10, 1953, two years after its introduction in the Italian parliament, a bill was approved that established ENI as the national hydrocarbons company.
